"Strike Was Heard 10 Kilometres Away": AFU Destroys Russian Ammunition Depot In Skadovsk

New details of the successful operation have become known.
Ukrainian defenders are detonating the occupiers' ammunition in Skadovsk. Thus, on July 31, another enemy depot was destroyed.
Reports of explosions in the town began to come in the evening of the same day. Skadovsk mayor Oleksandr Yakovlev spoke on Channel 24 about the new details of destroying the enemy trains.
He confirmed that the AFU had indeed dealt a heavy blow to the Russians. And stressed that the facility was not located in the town itself, but 3 to 4 kilometres away.
"However, everything was clearly heard and seen. The strike was so strong that it was heard in villages 10 kilometres away," said Yakovlev.
Fortunately, other buildings were not damaged. However, there is still no exact information about the number of Russian military personnel killed.
"But it is clear that a lot of damage has been done. The fire lasted for quite a long time," the mayor added.
The explosions started in temporarily occupied Skadovsk in the evening of July 31. Subsequently, it was officially stated that it was another targeted strike by the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
The confirmation was voiced by Yuriy Sobolevsky, deputy chairman of the Kherson regional council. According to the official, now the Russians can no longer use the Antonivsky bridge near Kherson to move troops and equipment.
Natalya Humeniuk, a spokeswoman for the southern defence forces, said that three other occupant trains in the south had also been hit.
